Prof. dr. Gülçin Büyüközkan continues her duties as Galatasaray University, Faculty of Engineering and Technology Dean and Head of Industrial Engineering Department. After Galatasaray High School, she completed the Industrial Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University in 1993. He received his Industrial Engineering Master’s degrees from ENSGI (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Génie Industriel) in France in 1996 and from Boğaziçi University in 1997. He continued his doctoral thesis studies in Industrial Engineering in INPG (Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble), Grenoble, France, thanks to the overseas doctoral scholarship given to him by the Council of Higher Education. He completed some of his thesis studies in Université Laval, Québec, Canada by benefiting from the Région Rhône Alpes European Union Doctoral Scholarship, and completed his doctoral thesis in 1999. He has many national and international articles, papers and book chapters in the fields of industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain and digitalization. Logistics Association (LODER) Vice Chairman of the Board Prof. Büyüközkan provides industrial trainings on various subjects, especially strategic management, logistics and supply chain, strategic consultancy services focused on establishing innovative systems, system improvement and digitalization, and carries out industrial projects.
